Bhagat Puran Singh Health Initiative (BPSHI) is an undergraduate student-run organization that primarily serves Punjabi-speaking populations throughout California. The UC Davis chapter serves all of Northern California. The students host various free mobile clinics at different Sikh temples throughout each month, circulating throughout the Sikh population. The undergraduate volunteers of Elaaj Clinic are primarily BPSHI volunteers of the UC Davis chapter who receive special training to work with the patients. These volunteers and aspiring health professionals play a crucial role as assistants and scribes in Elaaj Clinic.
